The Leatherman Rebar is a compact but seriously durable tool. It is designed to live on the belt of tradesmen who don't need the heavy duty style of the Supertool or Surge but still demand their strength and versatility.

The Rebar features the same replaceable, sharpenable wire cutter jaws as the Superool 300, meaning that you can sharpen the jaws of the pliers on the tool's own file. It also features both a straight bladed and serrated knife and a range of tools (listed below) which should be sufficient for a huge range of tasks.

    I bought a SuperTool over twenty years ago and when I put the Rebar next to it, the Rebar, in my opinion, has the slight edge over the SuperTool.
    The Rebar is a little bit shorter in length and has one less tool, but it has the advantage of being able to accept the Hex Drive adaptor on the Philips Screwdriver tool - a big plus! Also, the replaceable cutters are a HUGE plus.
    I bought the Rebar for my son as a gift and he's absolutely delighted with it.

    The Rebar arrived in good time using the free postage, packaged well. The Rebar is light enough to carry with you without being a burden, the pliers are good as are all the tools although I must say some are a bit tight(brand new, maybe they wiil ease with use).
    The engraving on the blade looks good adding a nice personal feel to the tool.
    Overall good quality & useful,it's on my belt nice n handy!
