It features three pockets/slots for accessories and permits holstering of tool in open position. As well as option for vertical and horizontal carry.

I have the Leatherman Wave and the original pouch was getting a bit "tatty". Had looked all over for a new pouch, found this one at the right price. Facewest delivered with their usual speedy response. Firstly, it is made to a very high standard I know it will serve me well for years to come. Secondly, from the picture you just can't quite make out the detail, it actually has three small storage pouches attached to it in addition to the main tool pouch, one on each side and another just under the lid. I've found that a small LED torch fits snugly in one of the side ones, the others will easily carry some of Leathermans other accessories. Another useful feature is the ability to have your leatherman in the pouch but in the open position, quite good if your using it a lot and don't want to put it down in the environment your in. Great bit of kit well recommended.
