The MUT's centrepiece are the regular/needlenose pliers which are made from 420 stainless steel, heat-treated for strength and ground for precision. It has replaceable 154cm stainless steel wire/hard-wire cutters, which keep their edge up to three times as long as standard stainless steel. The MUT also features replaceable carbon scraper, and replaceable firearm disassembly punch.

SUPRISING, 6.23.2011

After reading reviews looking at the charge tti, surge etc I found that having no fingernails I was unable to get to the tools. I decided on the MUT - maybe a tad OTT but being a electrical underground cable jointer there are a lot of useful tools on the multitool that I use on a daily basis.and the build of the tool is 2nd to none! the knife itself is the sharpest thing I've ever touched, seriously seriously sharp. I'm used to a skeletool cx and its nowhere near as sharp as it was new. the MOLLE case is is great - fits great, looks great and room for extra bits. The only down side to it is that because of the size and weight of it its noticeable on your belt and when trying to open the MOLLE it pulls your belt and trousers with it (bit of a pain as you can wear it comfortably) as for the pliers, crimps, saw etc. It's every thing you need to get you out of that pickle that sum people find themselves in quite often. (thats me for sure) (leatherman strikes again)
